How to get to the Museum

The Museum Maximiano Lemos of History of Medicine is located in the 6th floor, northwest, of the building shared by the Faculty of Medicine and S. João Hospital, wich is located in the northern perimeter of Porto, near the Circunvalação road (EN12).

By car

The best way to find FMUP, coming from Circunvalação road (EN12), from VCI/IC23 or from A3 highway, is to follow the directions to S. João Hospital.

By subway

Line D (yellow) connects the Faculty of Medicine (H.S.João station) and the University Campus (Pólo Universitário station) to Gaia's City Hall (Câmara de Gaia station) in about 20 minutes. It connects to lines A (blue), B (red), and C (green) at Trindade station.
